The C.P. Vietnam Animal Feed Industry won 2 National Quality Gold Awards

On December 18, 2024, the "National Quality Awards Ceremony, Asia-Pacific Quality Awards 2021-2023" was grandly organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology in Hanoi.

This prestigious award is the only one in Vietnam dedicated to recognizing excellence in quality at the national level. It is awarded annually by the Prime Minister to honor businesses that have demonstrated exceptional performance. These businesses must show consistent stability and confirm their leadership in their industry through sustained efforts to optimize management systems and promote sustainable development throughout the 2021-2023 period. The award not only acknowledges the quality of products and services but also highlights the continuous improvement of business operations.

The award ceremony was attended by several leaders, including Mr. Huynh Thanh Dat, Minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology; Mr. Nguyen Phuong Tuan, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Science, Technology and Environment of the National Assembly and Mr. Le Xuan Dinh, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology, who also serves as the Chairman of the National Quality Awards Council.

Representatives from C.P. Vietnam included Mr. Chamnam Wangakkarangkul - Executive Vice President, Mr. Vu Anh Tuan - Senior Vice President, Mr. Wirath Buayam - Vice President and other representatives from its branches, who received the awards at the event.

During the ceremony, C.P. Vietnam was honored with two Gold Awards. These included the Gold VNQA 2021 for the Ben Tre Seafood Feed Production Factory and the Gold VNQA 2022 for the C.P. Tien Giang Animal Feed Factory.

In addition, several branches and factories of C.P. Vietnam were awarded the VNQA 2021, including the Dong Nai Animal Feed Factory, the C.P. Tien Giang Animal Feed Factory and the Binh Dinh Livestock Feed Factory.

The branches and factories of C.P. Vietnam that were honored with the National Quality Award in 2022 include the Dong Nai Animal Feed Factory, the Xuan Mai (Hanoi) Animal Feed Factory and the Hai Duong Animal Feed Factory.

The years 2021-2023 were challenging for many businesses due to the widespread impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. Despite these difficulties, the 133 companies awarded this year demonstrated remarkable resilience and adaptability. They effectively navigated the challenges, ensured job security for their employees, and continued to maintain growth during an extremely tough period. These businesses that received the National Quality Award are a strong testament to the extraordinary efforts. Their outstanding achievements that contributed to the economic recovery and development of the country during a time of crisis.

For C.P. Vietnam, this year is particularly significant, as it highlights the achievements of its animal feed factories, which produce feed for livestock, poultry and seafood. The recognition further solidifies the reputation and prestige of the C.P. Vietnam brand, confirming its leadership in the industry and reinforcing its position as one of the "Top 10 Trusted Animal Feed Companies" in the country.

Mr. Prasan Atimanon, Executive Vice President in charge of the seafood feed production division at C.P. Vietnam, represented the C.P. Ben Tre factory and took the stage to receive the prestigious VNQA Gold Award. He expressed, “Receiving the VNQA Gold Award this time is a significant milestone that the entire factory staff and employees have been eagerly anticipating and striving towards for many years. The C.P. Ben Tre factory is one of the pioneers in Ben Tre Province to implement a comprehensive set of 8 international management standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, Global G.A.P., BAP, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001. In addition, we utilize KPI tools and various software programs in managing the production process, ensuring continuous improvement to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of our operations".

He elaborated further, saying, “Our factory uses European technology for production lines, which includes an automated quality control system monitored by cameras. This enables us to maintain high-quality standards at every stage of the production process, while also ensuring full traceability of the origin of our products. We are committed to producing high-quality, environmentally friendly feed. For example, we use advanced dust filtration technology (Airbag Filter), manage noise levels, treat wastewater, prevent chemical pollution and prioritize energy conservation by using alternative energy sourced from natural fuels. At present, the factory produces a variety of seafood feeds under several trusted brands, including Goal, Goal Max, Goal Fast, Jet, Hi-Gro, Hipo, Lotus and more". 

The C.P. Tien Giang Animal Feed Factory is the only feed production facility in the Mekong Delta region that serves the livestock and poultry sectors. Additionally, it is the only factory within the C.P. Group with the capability to handle both waterway and land transportation for imports and exports.

Having officially started operations in June 2021, the Tien Giang factory is equipped with modern machinery and a high level of automation, with a designed production capacity of 540.000 tons annually. Throughout its operational phase, the factory has implemented and adhered to numerous advanced management systems aligned with international standards. These include ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, ISO 14001, ISO 50001 and various other productivity and quality improvement tools. The Tien Giang factory has also fully incorporated 7 key criteria of the National Quality Award into its management and production operations.

The other factories of C.P. Vietnam honored at this year's VNQA Awards are recognized as pioneers in implementing advanced standards in their production and business activities. These include the Binh Dinh Livestock Feed Factory, the Dong Nai Animal Feed Factory, the Xuan Mai (Hanoi) Animal Feed Factory, and the Hai Duong Animal Feed Factory. Some of these factories, such as the Dong Nai and Tien Giang facilities, have participated in and won the award for multiple consecutive years.

With cutting-edge technology, C.P. Vietnam’s animal feed products meet a wide range of international standards, including those for nutritional content, safety, high performance, and traceability. As a result, C.P. Vietnam has been consistently ranked at the top of the "Top 10 Trusted Animal Feed Companies" list compiled by Vietnam Report for several years.

These prestigious national awards serve as a powerful motivation and source of pride for C.P. Vietnam. The recognition also encourages the company’s animal feed factories to strengthen their internal capabilities and continue working towards the overarching goal of the C.P.
