"This project is not just about business but also about Bel Ga's commitment to innovation, sustainability, and community. The company is committed to meeting the growing demand for high-quality poultry products while ensuring food safety and animal welfare," affirmed Mr. Carl Destrooper.
According to Mr. Koen De Heus, shareholder and COB of the Dutch Royal De Heus Group, today's event is a special occasion, marking the inauguration of Bel Ga's first hatchery factory in North Vietnam. This is an important forward step after more than 10 years of success in the South.

Congratulating this event, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Phung Duc Tien highly appreciated the efforts of businesses in the high-tech agricultural chain linkage system, such as De Heus Group, Hung Nhon Group, and Bel Ga Joint Stock Company, as well as the contributions of Ministries, departments, and branches, and especially the help and facilitation of leaders of Vinh Phuc province to complete the project ahead of schedule with high responsibility.
The Deputy Minister shared that in the agricultural and livestock export structure, there is still much room for development because the current export value of livestock and livestock products is still at the lowest level, only reaching USD 420 million.
According to MARD's leader, De Heus Group, Hung Nhon Group, and Bel Ga have built a linkage chain of high-tech livestock production in Vietnam. MARD highly appreciates this, especially the close coordination of the three businesses with a regional and international vision, which is to develop in the general trend of the circular economy, digital economy, and green economy. This is the link to transport high technology from abroad.
"The three businesses, De Heus, Hung Nhon, and Bel Ga, working side by side throughout the North, Central, and South, will create a spread and promote the development of larger-scale and more valuable poultry farming, not only serving the domestic market with over 100 million people but also exporting. This is an important immediate and long-term goal," emphasized Deputy Minister Phung Duc Tien.
The Deputy Minister affirmed that the Bel Ga Vinh Phuc poultry hatchery factory officially coming into operation will contribute to providing high-quality chicken breeds in the Northern provinces, thereby not only helping to reduce logistics costs but also helping to reduce long-distance transport stress for chicks.
"The factory will make an important contribution in the closed production ecosystem, ensuring biosafety, disease safety, and environmental protection. Thereby contributing to affirming product quality according to international standards to meet the increasingly high requirements of the domestic market and successfully conquer other demanding markets around the world," said the Deputy Minister Phung Duc Tien.
