US$ 9 million poultry egg incubator factory in Tay Ninh goes into operation

(VAN)- On April 17th, Bel Ga Joint-Stock Company, De Heus Group, and Hung Nhon Group celebrated the opening of the Bel Ga hi-tech poultry egg incubator factory in Tay Ninh.

The ceremony was participated by Mr. Le Minh Hoan, Minister of Agricultural and Rural Development, along with the ministry’s board members and delegates from the Embassy of Belgium, Netherland, and Indonesia, People’s Committee in Tay Ninh and in nearby provinces, Vietnamese Digital Agriculture Association, delegates from European enterprises in Vietnam; and over 450 representatives from livestock farms and businesses of the Central and Southern regions.

This is the second factory of this kind, the first one was completed in Lam Dong, also by Bel Ga Company, De Heus Group, and Hung Nhon Group.

The factory features a self-contained manufacturing process meeting GlobalGap standard, providing 35 million high-quality chickens for Vietnam and Cambodia.

According to Mr. Tien, the project is essential and appropriate for the development strategy of poultry farming in Tay Ninh, producing clean and high-quality meat and eggs. He also praises the implementation of high-tech and synchronized equipment in the production process, as well as the self-contained manufacturing system. Both will help raise productivity while making the products more affordable to the populace, bolstering Tay Ninh’s economy.

The purpose of this factory is to improve the quality of chickens’ output, to reduce the strain suffered by chickens on long delivery trips by considerably lessening the travel time, 1 hour to Cambodia, and around 5 hours to Mekong Delta provinces. The chickens can be quickly transported to the North through the airports in Ho Chi Minh City.

With a budget of  US$ 9 million, the factory has a size of 15000 square meters, capable of producing 38.4 million chickens annually in stage II. The primary product of the factory will be day-old broiler chicks and day-old hatchlings.

The production process will be monitored by a high-tech IT system to ensure efficiency and precision. There are plans to further modernize the factory in the future as well.

“Day-old broiler chicks and day-old hatchlings products from Bel Ga Tay Ninh will meet the strictest standards from GlobalGAP. We will create an optimal environment through the tight supervision of the chicken’s population, biological safety in the breeding and production process, egg input, temperature, the use of high-tech incubation equipment. This ensures transparency and quality for the end products”, Mr. Kris Van Daele stated.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ngoc revealed that the People’s Committee in Tay Ninh is doing their best to assist Bel Ga Company, De Heus Group, Hung Nhon Group, and their strategic partners in the investment of a high-tech agricultural complex, including two chicken breeding farms with a capacity of 25 million eggs annually, and 250 safety broiler farms, capable of producing of 25 million broilers per year.

The planned budget for both projects is estimated to be at $US 141.5 million. These projects will generate 500 jobs for the locals, as well as transferring the breeding technology for hundreds of local households.

Bel Ga Tay Ninh hi-tech poultry egg incubator factory is a project playing an important role in the economic restructuring endeavor of the province. Its operation and development of its service and logistics system will incentivize investments into Tay Ninh, thus stimulates the industrialization and urbanization of the province.
