On the domestic market, coffee prices today, February 13, 2025, recorded a strong increase in the Central Highlands provinces, ranging from VND 132,000 to VND 133,000/kg, rising sharply by VND 2,000/kg compared to yesterday.

  • Coffee prices in Dak Lak: Coffee prices increased by VND 2,200/kg, currently trading at VND 133,000/kg. This is the common price in key areas such as Cu M'gar, Ea H'leo, and Buon Ho.
  • Coffee prices in Lam Dong: As the locality with the lowest purchasing price, coffee prices today increased by VND 2,200/kg, reaching VND 132,000/kg. Districts such as Di Linh, Bao Loc, and Lam Ha recorded similar prices.
  • Coffee prices in Gia Lai: Coffee prices in Gia Lai increased by VND 2,000/kg, currently trading at VND 132,800/kg. The areas of Pleiku and Ia Grai remain stable in transactions.
  • Coffee prices in Dak Nong: This is the only province maintaining a stable price at VND 133,000/kg, continuing to lead the country in purchasing prices. The districts of Dak Mil, Dak R’lap, and Gia Nghia recorded the highest prices.

Contrary to the domestic market, global coffee prices continue to rise sharply, setting new record highs on both the London (Robusta) and New York (Arabica) exchanges.

Robusta coffee prices (London exchange): Robusta coffee prices for March 2025 delivery surged by $ 164/ton (+2.9%) to $ 5,817/ton, establishing a new peak compared to the previous record on January 31, 2025. Other contracts also recorded significant increases:

  • May 2025: $ 5,821/ton ($ 158/ton).
  • July 2025: $ 5,765/ton ($ 154/ton).
  • September 2025: $ 5,696/ton ($ 158/ton).

Arabica coffee prices (New York exchange): Arabica coffee prices for March 2025 delivery rose by 18.35 cents/lb (+4.44%) to 431.80 cents/lb, the highest level in many years. Other contracts also saw strong gains:

  • May 2025: 420.20 cents/lb (+15.80 cents/lb).
  • July 2025: 407.30 cents/lb (+15.15 cents/lb).
  • September 2025: 395.90 cents/lb (+13.85 cents/lb).
