On April 1, 2025, coffee prices in the global market continued to show notable fluctuations. Specifically, Robusta coffee prices on the London exchange dropped sharply, while Arabica coffee prices on the New York exchange saw only a slight decline. These fluctuations reflect supply and demand conditions as well as the impact of weather and global trade policies.
On the London exchange, the May 2025 Robusta coffee contract closed at $ 5,269/ton, down 1.27% ($68/ton) from the previous session. The July 2025 contract also recorded a decrease of 1.1% ( $59/ton), settling at $ 5,295/ton.
Similarly, Arabica coffee prices on the New York exchange also recorded a slight decline. Specifically, the May 2025 contract decreased by 0.05% (0.2 US cents/lb), reaching 379.75 cents/lb. The July 2025 contract dropped by 0.27% (1 cent/lb), settling at 375.4 cents/lb.
