Globally, prices on both the London and New York exchanges remain stable on October 28.
Specifically, Robusta coffee prices on the London exchange for November 2024 delivery are steady at $ 4,430/ton, while January 2025 futures hold at $ 4,411/ton.
On the New York exchange, Arabica coffee prices for December 2024 delivery are unchanged at 248.4 cents/lb, with March 2025 futures stable at 247.5 cents/lb.
Global coffee prices show no new movement today. Summing up the past week, both the London and New York exchanges experienced significant drops. Robusta futures for November fell by $ 272/ton, while Arabica futures for December decreased sharply by 8.9 cents/lb.
In addition, favourable rainfall in Brazil and a strong USD have contributed to the deeper decline in coffee prices.
Thus, on 18/10/2024, global coffee prices remained stable compared to yesterday.
In the domestic market, coffee prices today remain unchanged from yesterday.
In Lam Dong province, the districts of Di Linh, Bao Loc, and Lam Ha are all trading at VND 109,400/kg.
In Dak Lak province, Cu M'gar district is purchasing coffee at VND 109,800/kg, while Ea H'leo and Buon Ho districts are trading at VND 109,700/kg.
In Dak Nong province, traders in Gia Nghia and Dak R'lap are buying at VND 110,000 and VND 109,900/kg, respectively.
In Gia Lai province, Chu Prong district is trading at VND 109,700/kg, while Pleiku and La Grai remain at VND 109,600/kg.
In Kon Tum province, the coffee buying price today is VND 109,700/kg.
Summing up the past week, the domestic coffee market saw an additional decrease of VND 1,000.
Thus, on 10/28/2024, domestic coffee prices are trading around the range of VND 109,400 - 110,000/kg.
