In the world market, coffee prices today, August 7, simultaneously decrease in two large exchanges compared to yesterday.

The Robusta coffee futures price in ICE Futures Europe (London) exchange for September 2021 contracts decreases by US$ 21 per ton at US$ 1,743 per ton and decreases by US$ 28 per ton at US$ 1,754 per ton for November 2021 contracts.

Likewise, the Arabica coffee futures price in ICE Futures US (New York) for September 2021 contracts decreases by Cent 0.9 per pound at Cent 176.0 per pound and decreases by Cent 0.85 per pound at Cent 179.05 per pound for December 2021 contracts.

In the domestic market, coffee prices today, August 7, continue to decrease slightly by VND 300 in some key provinces compared to yesterday morning, in the range of VND 35,700-36,600 per kilogram.

Specifically, coffee prices today in Di Linh, Bao Loc, and Lam Ha districts of Lam Dong province are the same at VND 35,700 per kilogram.

In Dak Lak province, coffee prices are up to VND 36,500-36,600 per kilogram.

In Dak Nong, Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces, coffee is purchased at VND 36,400-36,500 per kilogram.

In the world market, pepper prices today, August 7, at Kochi exchange (India), continue to decrease slightly compared to the latest session, at INR 41,300 per quintal.

In the domestic market, pepper prices increase by VND 500 in some provinces compared to yesterday morning, in the range of VND 72,500-76,000 per kilogram.

Specifically, the pepper price in Dak Lak and Dak Nong provinces is at VND 74,000.

In Dong Nai province, the pepper price keeps at VND 73,000 per kilogram.

After a VND 500 increase, the pepper price is VND 73,000 per kilogram in Gia Lai province.

The pepper in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province is purchased at the highest of VND 76,000.

In Binh Phuoc province, the pepper price is traded at VND 75,000

As forecasted, with the current scarcity, pepper prices can reach VND 80,000 per kilogram this month.

Rubber prices

In the world market, rubber prices are oppositely adjusted in commodity exchanges compared to the latest session.

In Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM), the futures rubber price for August 2021 contracts is down by JPY 0.4 at JPY 209.9 per kilogram, but up by JPY 0.8 at JPY 212.7 per kilogram for September 2021 contracts, and up by JPY 0.9 at JPY 216.9 per kilogram for October 2021 contracts.

In Shanghai Commodity Futures Exchange (SHFE), the futures rubber price for August 2021 contracts keeps at CNY 13,328 per ton, up by CNY 150 at CNY 13,700 per ton for September 2021 contracts, and up by CNY 175 at CNY 13,795 per ton for October 2021 contracts.

In the domestic, rubber prices are stable compared to yesterday.

Fresh rubber latex prices in Binh Phuoc province range from VND 300-315 per TSC-DRC.

Phu Rieng Rubber One Member Limited Liability Company, Binh Phuoc province, publishes the fresh rubber latex price at VND 325 per TSC-DRC.

In Dak Lak province, the rubber latex price is VND 16,000-18,000 per kilogram, depending on the type.

The Department of Crop Production, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has just asked the Mekong Delta provinces to monitor the flood and storm developments and well-control of the Summer-Autumn crop to have specific plans for the Winter-Spring crop.
