In the world market, coffee prices today, August 6, fluctuate oppositely in two large exchanges compared to yesterday.

The Robusta coffee futures price in ICE Futures Europe (London) exchange for September 2021 contracts decreases by US$ 6 per ton at US$ 1,764 per ton and decreases by US$ 5 per ton at US$ 1,782 per ton for November 2021 contracts.

In contrast, the Arabica coffee futures price in ICE Futures US (New York) for September 2021 contracts increases by Cent 1.25 per pound at Cent 176.9 per pound and increases by Cent 1.2 per pound at Cent 179.9 per pound for December 2021 contracts.

The US financial market positively affected the Arabica coffee price when the unemployment report in July 2021 was published with positive data.

In the domestic market, coffee prices today, August 6, decrease slightly by VND 100 in some key provinces compared to yesterday morning, in the range of VND 36,000-36,900 per kilogram.

Specifically, coffee prices today in Di Linh, Bao Loc, and Lam Ha districts of Lam Dong province are the same at VND 36,000 per kilogram.

In Dak Lak province, coffee prices are up to VND 36,800-36,900 per kilogram.

In Dak Nong, Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces, coffee is purchased at VND 36,700-36,800 per kilogram.

In the world market, pepper prices today, August 6, at Kochi exchange (India), continue to decrease slightly by INR 66.65 compared to yesterday, at INR 41,300 per quintal.

In the domestic market, pepper prices increase by VND 500 in some provinces compared to yesterday morning, in the range of VND 72,500-76,000 per kilogram.

Specifically, the pepper price in Dak Lak and Dak Nong provinces is at VND 74,000, an increase by VND 500 per kilogram.

In Dong Nai and Gia Lai provinces, pepper prices keep at VND 73,000 and 72,5000 per kilogram, respectively.

The pepper in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province is purchased at the highest of VND 76,000, an increase by VND 500 per kilogram.

In Binh Phuoc province, the pepper price is traded at VND 75,000, an increase by VND 500 per kilogram.

According to experts, the decrease in Vietnam’s pepper output, the world's largest pepper exporter, was the cause of the increase in global pepper prices in the first months of this year.

Rubber prices

In the world market, rubber prices are oppositely adjusted in commodity exchanges.

In Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM), the futures rubber price for August 2021 contracts is down by JPY 0.9 at JPY 209.4 per kilogram, keeps at JPY 211.9 per kilogram for September 2021 contracts, but up by JPY 1.3 at JPY 216.0 per kilogram for October 2021 contracts.

In the domestic, rubber prices are stable compared to yesterday.

Fresh rubber latex prices in Binh Phuoc province range from VND 300-315 per TSC-DRC.

Phu Rieng Rubber One Member Limited Liability Company, Binh Phuoc province, publishes the fresh rubber latex price at VND 325 per TSC-DRC.

In Dak Lak province, the rubber latex price is VND 16,000-18,000 per kilogram, depending on the type.

Rice prices

Rice prices today, August 6, in the Mekong Delta provinces tend to decrease slightly compared to yesterday.

Specifically, the fresh 8 fragrant rice is VND 5,700-6,000 per kilogram.

The fresh Japanese rice price is VND 7,500-7,600 per kilogram.

The fresh OM 5451 rice price is VND 5,100-5,200 per kilogram.

The fresh OM 18 rice price is VND 5,700-5,800 VND per kilogram.

The fresh OM 9582 rice price is VND 4,600-4,700 per kilogram, stable compared to yesterday.

The fresh sticky rice price is VND 4,400-4,500 per kilogram.

The fresh OM 6976 rice price is VND 5,100-5,200 per kilogram.

According to the Department of Crop Production, the Mekong Delta provinces have just harvested 600,000 hectares of the Summer-Autumn crop. There are still about 900,000 hectares that need to be harvested in August and September.
