Globally, pepper prices showed a downward trend on April 25, 2025, with declines recorded in multiple key producing countries.
Specifically, the price of black pepper (Lampung) in Indonesia dropped by 0.03% to $ 7,102/ton, while white pepper (Muntok) decreased by 0.02% to $ 9,612/ton.
In Malaysia, the price of Kuching ASTA black pepper fell sharply by 3.23% to $ 9,300/ton, while white pepper ASTA declined by 1.68% to $ 11,900/ton.
In Brazil, the price of black pepper ASTA 570 remained stable at around $ 6,900/ton.
In Vietnam, the export price of black pepper grade 500 g/l held at $ 6,800/ton, and the 550 g/l grade was priced at $ 6,900/ton. The export price of white pepper remained unchanged at $ 9,800/ton.
Despite the price correction, global consumption demand remains high. As the world’s leading pepper exporter, Vietnam holds a strong advantage in meeting this growing demand.
Thus, global pepper prices on April 25, 2025, saw a notable decline compared to the previous day.
In the domestic market, pepper prices rose sharply across the board today, April 25, 2025, increasing by up to VND 2,000, with trading prices now ranging from VND 155,500 to 157,000/kg.

Specifically, in Dak Lak, pepper is being traded today at VND 157,000/kg, up sharply by VND 2,000.
Similarly, in Dak Nong, pepper prices have climbed to VND 157,000/kg.
In Gia Lai, pepper is being traded today at VND 155,500/kg, an increase of VND 1,500.
In Dong Nai, traders are purchasing pepper at VND 156,000/kg, up VND 2,000.
Pepper prices in Ba Ria - Vung Tau also rose by VND 2,000 today, reaching VND 156,000/kg.
In Binh Phuoc, traders are transacting at VND 156,000/kg, marking a strong increase of VND 2,000.
Thus, domestic pepper prices on April 25, 2025, are being traded in the range of VND 155,500–157,000/kg.
