In the world market, pepper prices today, July 29, at Kochi exchange, India, decrease slightly by INR 66.65 per quintal, at INR 41,633.35 per quintal.
Previously, after many days of moving sideways, Indian pepper prices clearly also showed a downtrend last week. The reason is that there is an excess of domestic supply while cheap Sri Lanka's pepper continues to enter India.
