In the world market, pepper prices today, July 26, at Kochi exchange, India, increase by INR 694.25 per quintal, at INR 41,825.
The cross rate of Vietnam Dong to Indian Rupee (INR) from July 22 to July 28, 2021, applied by the State Bank for export and import tax calculation, is VND311.39/INR.
Vietnam's pepper exports, in the first half of July 2021, reached 14,320 tonnes, with a total value of US$ 52.47 million. As a result, pepper exports in the first 7.5 months of 2021 reached 168,204 tonnes, down by 3.62% in volume but up 46.35% in value over the same period last year.
Pepper's average export price in the first half of July 2021 reached US$ 3,664 per tonnes, up 2.29% compared to June 2021.
