At present, the harvesting season in our country is basically over. After harvesting, experts warn that black pepper plants often become "exhausted," especially during the dry season. Therefore, farmers should focus on caring for their plants, preventing pests and diseases, and providing sufficient nutrients for the plants to recover. The weather is causing concerns about continued declines in yield, pushing the price of black pepper in the domestic market to rise again this week.
Faced with the situation of recovering black pepper prices, many pepper growers have been planning to restructure their pepper gardens. However, to avoid risks, farmers should choose sustainable methods with low investment costs. Especially, they should only expand their cultivation areas with their own family's capital and should not borrow money to expand their cultivation areas.
Thus, the price of black pepper in the domestic market on 04/19/2024 is trading around VND 92,000 to 95,000/kg.
