Livestock and fishery commodities’ price, September 9: Live pork fluctuates nationwide, white shrimp continues to increase

(VAN) September 9, 2021, white shrimp prices continue to increase in some types compared to yesterday. Live pork prices increase in the North and the Central and fluctuate oppositely in the South.

Live pork prices

Live pork prices today, September 9, in the Northern market, increase in some provinces compared to yesterday.

Specifically, Thai Nguyen province keeps the highest price at VND 52,000 per kilogram.

After a VND 1,000 increase, the live pork price is VND 52,000 per kilogram in Hung Yen province, the same in Thai Nguyen.

Meanwhile, in Tuyen Quang province, the live pork price is the lowest at VND 49,000 per kilogram.

Today, traders in Ninh Binh province purchase live pork at the price of VND 51,000 per kilogram, increasing by VND 1,000, the same in Yen Bai, Phu Tho, Ha Nam, Vinh Phuc provinces and Ha Noi City.

The remaining provinces keep the live pork price at VND 51,000 per kilogram, unchanged compared to yesterday.

In North Central Coast and Central Highlands, live pork prices today also increase slightly compared to yesterday.

The live pork price keeps the highest as VND 54,000 per kilogram in Ha Tinh and Ninh Thuan provinces.

After increasing by VND 1,000, the live pork price in Quang Ngai province is also VND 54,000 per kilogram, the same in Ha Tinh and Ninh Thuan.

Meanwhile, the lowest live pork price is VND 50,000 per kilogram in Binh Dinh province.

After increasing by VND 1,000, in Quang Nam and Lam Dong provinces, the live pork price is VND 53,000 per kilogram.

In Nghe An and Thanh Hoa province, the live pork price keeps at VND 52,000 per kilogram.

In the South, live pork prices today are adjusted oppositely by VND 1,000 in some places per kilogram compared to yesterday.

The live pork price in Ca Mau province is VND 51,000 per kilogram, decreasing by VND 1,000, the same in Dong Thap province.

Conversely, the live pork price is VND 52,000 per kilogram in Ben Tre province, increasing by VND 1,000, the same in Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh, Kien Giang provinces and Ho Chi Minh City.

The highest live pork price is VND 53,000 per kilogram in Vung Tau, Long An and Tien Giang province.

Meanwhile, the lowest live pork price is VND 49,000 per kilogram in Hau Giang province.

In Bac Lieu, Tra Vinh and Ca Mau provinces, white shrimp prices today, September 9, increase in most types compared to yesterday. Some types decrease slightly by VND 1,000-3,000.

Specifically, 20 head-sized white shrimp prices are VND 207,000-227,000 per kilogram, decreasing by VND 3,000.

25 head-sized white shrimp prices are VND 165,000-170,000 per kilogram, increasing by VND 1,000.

30 head-sized white shrimp prices are VND 132,000-138,000 per kilogram, unchanged compared to yesterday.

40 head-sized white shrimp prices are VND 114,000-116,000 per kilogram, decreasing by VND 2,000.

50 head-sized white shrimp prices are VND 99,000-101,000 per kilogram, increasing by VND 2,000.

60 head-sized white shrimp prices are VND 89,500-90,500 per kilogram, increasing by VND 3,000.

70 head-sized white shrimp prices are VND 85,000-85,500 per kilogram, increasing by VND 4,000.

80 head-sized white shrimp prices are VND 79,500-80,500 per kilogram, increasing by VND 3,000.

Pangasius prices

In Dong Thap, An Giang, Can Tho and Hau Giang provinces, raw pangasius prices today, September 9, are VND 20,500-21,500 per kilogram.

Prices for 30-35 head-sized pangasius breeds are VND 25,000-30,000 per kilogram, increasing by VND 7,000-10,000 compared to last month.

According to VASEP, the whole Mekong Delta has about 120 pangasius hatcheries, with nearly 3,000 hectares of pangasius raising areas with abundant raw materials for export.

However, in the first half of 2021, the price of raw materials has increased 3-4 times. Essential items for the operation of pangasius processing factories also increased by 5%-25%.

In addition, the price of aqua feed also increased from 15% to 20% and the increase in sea freight from 5-7 times... which are the factors that led the value of export pangasius to increase.

Snakehead prices

In Dong Thap, An Giang, and Tra Vinh provinces, snakehead prices today, September 9, are VND 44,000-45,000 per kilogram, unchanged compared to yesterday.

Prices for 500-700 head-sized snakehead breeds are VND 200-300 per head, unchanged compared to yesterday.

Red tilapia prices

In Dong Thap, An Giang, Vinh Long and Hau Giang provinces, red tilapia prices today, September 9, are VND 35,000-36,000 per kilogram, unchanged compared to yesterday.

Prices for 30-40 head-sized red tilapia breeds are VND 22,000-23,000 per kilogram, unchanged compared to yesterday.

Bronze featherback prices

In Dong Thap, An Giang, Vinh Long and Hau Giang provinces, bronze featherback prices today, September 9, are VND 45,000-46,000 per kilogram.

Prices for 200 head-sized bronze featherback breeds are VND 1,600 per head, unchanged compared to yesterday.
