The price in the remaining localities is also moving sideways, continuing to buy in the price range of VND 64,000 - 65,000/kg.

Thus, today's live pork price on 07/17/2023 in the Northern market is trading at VND 64,000 - 66,000/kg.

Live pork prices in the Central and Central Highlands on July 17

Live pork prices on July 17 in the Central and Central Highlands markets are flat compared to yesterday.

Specifically, VND 59,000/kg is the lowest price in the region today and is being traded in Dak Lak.

In Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and Ha Tinh, traders are buying together at VND 63,000/kg - The highest in the region today.

Prices in other provinces continued to maintain stability.

Expectations for widespread use of African swine fever vaccine

Report at the meeting to evaluate the results of quality supervision and use of African swine fever vaccines by NAVETCO and AVAC by Department of Animal Health (MARD) held on the morning of July 15, Mr Phan Quang Minh - Deputy Director of the Department of Animal Health (MARD) said: Up to this point, the pilot vaccination of 600,000 doses of African swine fever vaccine on a narrow scale by NAVETCO Joint Stock Company and AVAC Vietnam Joint Stock Company has given positive results.
