The live pig market in the North continues its slight downward trend from yesterday.
Accordingly, pig prices in Bac Giang, Thai Nguyen, Vinh Phuc, and Hanoi each dropped by VND 1,000, trading at VND 62,000/kg.
Aside from Ninh Binh, where prices are trading at VND 61,000/kg, other localities maintain levels between VND 62,000 - 63,000/kg.
Thus, live pig prices in the North on 10/28/2024, are trading at levels between VND 61,000 - 63,000/kg.
The live pig market in the Central and Central Highlands remains unchanged from yesterday.
Specifically, prices in Dak Lak remain at just VND 58,000/kg — the lowest nationwide.
A slightly higher price of VND 59,000/kg is being offered in Quang Nam, Binh Dinh, and Khanh Hoa.
In other localities, prices are around the range of VND 60,000 - 61,000/kg.
Thus, live pig prices in the Central and Central Highlands on 10/28/2024, are being purchased at around VND 58,000 - 61,000/kg.
The live pig market in the South shows little change from yesterday.
Notably, only prices in Ba Ria Vung Tau have dropped to VND 61,000/kg after a further VND 1,000 decrease.
There are no new changes in other localities.
Thus, live pig prices in the South on 10/28/2024, are trading in the range of VND 59,000 - 62,000/kg.
