Accordingly, the price of pigs in Hung Yen, Hai Duong, Thai Nguyen, and Thai Binh has traded down to VND 68,000/kg after a reduction of VND 1,000.
With the same decrease, traders in Lao Cai and Ha Nam are also buying at VND 67,000/kg, the lowest in the region.
The remaining localities have maintained the same prices as yesterday.
Thus, the live pig prices in the North on 10/08/2024, are trading at levels of VND 67,000 - 69,000/kg.
The live pig market in the Central and Central Highlands regions has seen little change compared to yesterday.
Specifically, only the price of pigs in Lam Dong has slightly decreased by VND 1,000, purchasing at VND 65,000/kg.
Thanh Hoa remains at VND 68,000/kg—the locality with the highest trading price in the region.
Meanwhile, the live pig prices in other localities continue to remain stable.
Thus, the live pig prices in the Central and Central Highlands regions on 10/08/2024, are purchasing around VND 64,000 - 68,000/kg.
The live pig market in the South has also slightly decreased compared to yesterday.
Specifically, traders in Ben Tre have purchased live pigs at VND 63,000/kg, after a reduction of VND 1,000, making it the locality with the lowest pig price in the region.
With the same decrease, the price of pigs in Tay Ninh and Dong Thap has fallen to VND 65,000/kg; Can Tho and Hau Giang are trading at VND 64,000/kg.
Other localities continue to maintain the prices from yesterday.
Thus, the live pig prices in the South on 10/08/2024, are trading in the range of VND 63,000 - 66,000/kg.
