On October 19, Dabaco Thanh Hoa Co., Ltd. continued to import 600 parent-level pigs from France to Vietnam to add to the farm, increasing the total herd of sows to 5,600. This is a move that shows that Dabaco is expanding the scale of livestock farming in an area that is considered its strength.
According to Thanh Hoa Department of Livestock and Veterinary Medicine, in the context of the livestock industry facing many difficulties, Dabaco Thanh Hoa Co., Ltd.'s continuous promotion of pig breeding herds is not only meaningful in providing high-quality breeds to serve the company's production needs but also contributes to stabilizing the breeding market and meat output every year.
Besides investing methodically in breeds, Dabaco Thanh Hoa Co., Ltd. also devotes a lot of effort to building modern, safe, pig farms to help pigs have the best-growing environment according to European standards.
Dabaco Vietnam High-tech Pig Breeding and Commercial Production Area Project (Thach Tuong commune, Thach Thanh district, Thanh Hoa province) of Dabaco Vietnam Group Joint Stock Company was approved with investment from the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province according to Decision No. 1069/QD-UBND dated March 27, 2020.
After 3 years of implementation, by the second quarter of 2023, the project has completed 100% of the construction progress and went into operation with a farming scale of 5,600 sows and 157,000 pigs per year. In the first and second quarters of 2023, the company imported 5,000 parent-level sows from France to raise on the farm.
It is expected that the company's pig breeding herd will provide about 15,000 parent pigs and 140,000 meat pigs per year, contributing to providing enough quality and safe pig breeds, solving the scarcity of high-quality pig breeds supply, providing optimal productivity in livestock farming, providing clean pork for the domestic market and export orientation; Contributing to the growth target of Thanh Hoa's agricultural industry...
