Latest Arabia and Robusta prices on October 25, 2023

World coffee prices today continued to increase sharply on the New York exchange but decreased on the London exchange.

After a series of 8 consecutive days of increases, Robusta's price turned down because the market needed to readjust its buying and selling positions on the exchange. The price of this product has continuously increased in recent days even when the leading producer, Vietnam, has started a new harvest.

However, the current rainstorms in the Central Highlands region are causing concern that they will reduce the quality of dried grain. Therefore, new crop supplies will reach the market slowly, while Southeast Asian coffee has extremely high price differences.

For Arabica, rainfall is expected to continue to spread in the southern and southeastern regions of Brazil, making it more difficult for farmers to transport this agricultural product. Thereby, this creates concern about export restrictions in Brazil.

Along with that, standard Arabica inventory on the New York exchange remains at its lowest level in the past 11 months, with 421,424 of 60kg bags. Thanks to that, Arabica prices continued to increase in the past session.

Thus, world coffee prices on 10/25/2023 fluctuated in opposite directions compared to yesterday.
