Update on the latest domestic and world coffee prices on October 25, 2023
Around the world, the London and New York coffee exchange prices on October 25 increased and decreased in opposite directions.

On the New York floor, the price of Arabica delivered in December 2023 increased sharply by 2.3 cents; to 168.15 cents/lb. And the March 2024 delivery futures price increased by 2.15 cents; at 167.10 cents/lb.
Latest Arabia and Robusta prices on October 25, 2023
World coffee prices today continued to increase sharply on the New York exchange but decreased on the London exchange.
After a series of 8 consecutive days of increases, Robusta's price turned down because the market needed to readjust its buying and selling positions on the exchange. The price of this product has continuously increased in recent days even when the leading producer, Vietnam, has started a new harvest.
However, the current rainstorms in the Central Highlands region are causing concern that they will reduce the quality of dried grain. Therefore, new crop supplies will reach the market slowly, while Southeast Asian coffee has extremely high price differences.
For Arabica, rainfall is expected to continue to spread in the southern and southeastern regions of Brazil, making it more difficult for farmers to transport this agricultural product. Thereby, this creates concern about export restrictions in Brazil.
Along with that, standard Arabica inventory on the New York exchange remains at its lowest level in the past 11 months, with 421,424 of 60kg bags. Thanks to that, Arabica prices continued to increase in the past session.
Thus, world coffee prices on 10/25/2023 fluctuated in opposite directions compared to yesterday.
The domestic market price on October 25 turned down slightly compared to yesterday.
Specifically, 3 districts of Di Linh, Bao Loc and Lam Ha of Lam Dong province are trading at the same level of VND 60,200/kg.
In Dak Lak, Cu M'gar district today is purchasing at VND 61,000/kg. Meanwhile, Ea H'leo and Buon Ho districts are trading at VND 60,900/kg.
In Dak Nong province, traders in Gia Nghia and Dak R'lap are purchasing at VND 60,800 and VND 60,700/kg, respectively.
In Gia Lai, Chu Prong district is trading at VND 60,800/kg, while Pleiku and La Grai are maintaining the same price at VND 60,700/kg.
Although domestic coffee prices are slightly decreasing by VND 200-300/kg, they still maintain the threshold of VND 61,000/kg.
Thus, the domestic coffee price on 10/25/2023 is trading around the threshold of VND 60,200 - 61,000/kg.
