(VAN) Coffee prices on March 12, 2025, have rise in global markets. Domestic coffee prices have surged by VND 1,500, reaching VND 132,000 - VND 133,000/kg.

In the global market, both the London and New York exchanges continued their upward trend on March 12.

On the London exchange, Robusta futures for May 2025 increased by $ 177 (equivalent to 3.29%), reaching $ 5,552/ton. The July 2025 contract also rose by $ 171 (equivalent to 3.20%), settling at $ 5,513/ton.

Meanwhile, on the New York exchange, Arabica futures for May 2025 climbed by 9.75 cents (equivalent to 2.54%), reaching 393.75 cents/lb. The July 2025 contract increased by 9.7 cents (equivalent to 2.59%), reaching 384.40 cents/lb.

In Dak Lak, Cu M'gar district is purchasing coffee at VND 132,800/kg today, while Ea H'leo and Buon Ho districts are trading at VND 132,700/kg.

In Dak Nong province, traders in Gia Nghia and Dak R'lap are trading at VND 133,000/kg and VND 132,900/kg, respectively.

In Gia Lai province, Chu Prong district is trading at VND 132,700/kg, while Pleiku and La Grai are both holding at VND 132,600/kg.

Meanwhile, coffee purchasing prices in Kon Tum today stand at VND 132,700/kg.

Thus, domestic coffee prices on March 12, 2025, are trading around VND 132,000 - 133,000/kg.
