Globally, both the London and New York exchanges saw a rebound on October 19.
Specifically, Robusta prices on the London exchange for November 2024 delivery increased slightly by $ 17 (equivalent to 0.36%), reaching $ 4,702/ton. The January 2025 contract also rose by $ 17 (equivalent to 0.37%), standing at $ 4,615/ton.
Meanwhile, on the New York exchange, Arabica prices for December 2024 delivery increased by 2.15 cents (equivalent to 0.84%), reaching 257.30 cents/lb. The March 2025 contract similarly rose by 2.15 cents (equivalent to 0.85%), settling at 257.30 cents/lb.

Global coffee prices today have recovered after the USD index declined.
As of the survey, the DXY index, which measures the fluctuation of the greenback against six major currencies (EUR, JPY, GBP, CAD, SEK, CHF), stands at 103.46.
The USD has weakened following a series of economic stimulus measures from China, which has boosted global stocks.
Thus, global coffee prices on 10/19/2024, have slightly increased compared to yesterday.
In the domestic market, coffee prices have risen slightly by VND 300 compared to yesterday.
Specifically, in Lam Dong province, Di Linh, Bao Loc, and Lam Ha districts are trading at the same price of VND 111,100/kg.
In Dak Lak, Cu M'gar district is purchasing coffee at VND 111,500/kg, while Ea H'leo and Buon Ho districts are trading at VND 111,400/kg.
In Dak Nong, traders in Gia Nghia and Dak R'lap are purchasing coffee at VND 111,700/kg and VND 111,600/kg, respectively.
In Gia Lai province, Chu Prong district is trading at VND 111,600D/kg, while Pleiku and La Grai are both maintaining the price of VND 111,500/kg.
Coffee purchasing prices in Kon Tum today are at VND 111,500/kg.
Domestic coffee prices today have risen again, nearing the threshold of VND 112,000/kg.
According to information from the Gia Lai Department of Industry and Trade, in the first nine months of 2024, the province's coffee exports exceeded $ 552 million, contributing up to 80% of the province's export value, as reported by Vietnam Agriculture News.
During the same period, Gia Lai's total export turnover is estimated to reach over $ 700 million, achieving more than 93% of the annual target. Coffee exports alone amounted to 193,000 tons, corresponding to $ 552 million, accounting for 80% of the province’s total export value, a 26% increase compared to the same period last year.
