Global coffee prices today continue to rise but at a slower pace compared to yesterday.

Unfavourable weather conditions worldwide are causing concerns about future coffee production.

On September 9, Somar Meteorologia reported that the Minas Gerais region of Brazil did not receive any rainfall over the past week. This drought situation in the country is expected to significantly impact global coffee production.

Additionally, the impact of Typhoon Yagi—the strongest storm ever to form in the South China Sea—hitting northern Vietnam further exemplifies global climate change instability.

Last week, the International Coffee Organization (ICO) reported a 10.5% increase in global coffee exports from October 2023 to July 2024 compared to the previous period. However, this information did not lower coffee prices, indicating that concerns about supply remain quite persistent.

Thus, global coffee prices on 09/11/2024 increased slightly compared to the previous day.
