In the world market, coffee prices today, August 2, move sideways in two exchanges compared to yesterday.

The Robusta coffee price in London exchange delivered in September 2021 stays at US$ 1,786 per ton and at US$ 1,801 per ton for November delivery.

Likewise, the Arabica coffee price delivered in September 2021 stays at Cent 179.55 per pound and at Cent 182.45 per pound for December delivery.

The Arabica coffee price has been up 12% in July 2021, and up 55% compared to one year ago. In London exchange, it has also increased by 5.20%, or US$ 89 per ton. The reason is that adverse weather reduces production in 2021 and is expected to continue to affect output next year.

In Gia Nghia and Dak R'lap districts, Dak Nong province, coffee is purchased at VND 36,800 and VND 36,700 per kilogram.

The coffee price today in Chu Prong district, Gia Lai province, is VND 36,800 per kilogram. In Pleiku City and La Grai district, the coffee prices are the same at VND 36,700 per kilogram.

Kontum province’s traders purchase coffee at the price of VND 36,800 per kilogram.

Since the complicated situation of the Covid-19 epidemic and social distancing in many provinces nationwide, coffee trading has been quiet in the domestic market.
