On March 12, the largest agricultural machinery exhibition in Asia, AGRITECHNICA ASIA Vietnam 2025, officially opened at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.

The largest agricultural machinery exhibition in Asia, AGRITECHNICA ASIA Vietnam 2025, with the theme "Promoting Green Innovation in Southeast Asia," is organized by the German Agricultural Society (DLG) in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment. AGRITECHNICA is the world's leading trade fair for agricultural machinery, with a long-standing tradition, organized by the German Agricultural Society (DLG).

AGRITECHNICA ASIA Vietnam 2025 for the first time held in Vietnam, attracting over 4,000 delegates from international and domestic organizations and businesses. Particularly noteworthy, more than 500 delegates are farmers attending the event. This event serves as a platform accelerating mechanization and innovation in agriculture in Vietnam and the Southeast Asian region.

According to Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Tran Thanh Nam, this is an important event for experts, producers, farmers, and investors to connect, learn, and promote sustainable agricultural initiatives in response to continuously changing production conditions, agricultural business due to climate change, and market changes.

As a result, it helps enhance the awareness of businesses and farmers about the importance of technology application in production to increase productivity and add value. At the same time, it promotes sustainable agricultural development, encourages innovation and creativity in agriculture, and opens opportunities for talent and intellectual development.

With the full showcase of the latest agricultural machinery at AGRITECHNICA ASIA Vietnam 2025, Mrs. Helga Margarete Barth, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Vietnam, stated that Vietnamese farmers will gain valuable new solutions to enhance productivity and minimize environmental impact.

AGRITECHNICA ASIA Vietnam 2025 brings together over 200 exhibiting companies from 30 countries and territories in the field of agricultural mechanization, aiming to address major challenges such as climate change, resource scarcity, and market competition pressures.

Within the framework of the exhibition, nearly 20 side events and programs offer diverse perspectives on policy, science, and practical production, encouraging productivity improvement and environmental responsibility.

The Yanmar Solis 90 - 90HP agricultural tractor, co-produced in India by Yanmar Group (Japan), is officially distributed in Vietnam by Yanmar Vietnam Agricultural Machinery Co., Ltd.

This is a heavy-duty tractor designed for large-scale farms growing rice, cassava, beans, corn, and more. It comes in two models: a canopy version and a cabin version with air conditioning.

Equipped with a 90HP turbocharged engine and a synchronized 12-forward, 12-reverse gearbox, it allows gear shifting without stopping the machine. Additionally, its rugged and powerful design, spacious and comfortable operating area, and dual projector headlights enhance visibility for efficient nighttime operation.

At this exhibition, XAG (China) introduces smart automation equipment for agriculture, including automated irrigation systems, agricultural drones, and autonomous tractor steering systems.

Therefore, technology is the key to controlling pests, managing external influences, and enhancing the quality of agricultural products. The combine harvester from Weichai Lovol (China), with high horsepower, performs efficiently in all field conditions, ensuring high economic returns, minimal grain loss, and clean output.

The Massey Ferguson 5M agricultural tractor (USA) is making its Asian debut, distributed by Gold Max Co., Ltd. This tractor features smart navigation system technology, making it suitable for sugarcane, cassava, pineapple, banana, rubber, biomass corn cultivation, and dairy farming.

The largest agricultural machinery exhibition in Asia, AGRITECHNICA ASIA Vietnam 2025, takes place from March 12 to 14 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. It is expected to attract 15,000 trade visitors.
