AGRITECHNICA ASIA Vietnam 2025 announces 16 thematic events

(VAN) The sessions at AGRITECHNICA ASIA Vietnam 2025 will highlight the potential of agricultural mechanization in Vietnam, featuring insights from leading experts.

AGRITECHNICA ASIA, organized by the German Agricultural Society (DLG), is a premier agricultural trade fair. The 2025 edition in Vietnam will focus on key agricultural sectors such as rice, sugarcane, corn, food crops, coffee, and fruits. The event is expected to host over 200 exhibitors from 25 countries and attract thousands of experts from across the agricultural value chain.

1. Green Innovation Centres in the Agriculture and Food Sector in Vietnam

This seminar, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD), through the Department of Cooperatives and Rural Development (DCRD) and the National Agricultural Extension Centre (NAEC), aims to strengthen the role of agricultural cooperatives and extension services in driving sustainable farming practices in Vietnam. The session will bring together cooperatives, farmer associations, and industry stakeholders to discuss practical solutions, policy support, and innovative approaches to improving farm productivity, sustainability, and market access.

This session, hosted by GIZ Vietnam, will explore innovative mechanization and value chain improvements for rice production in Vietnam. Experts will present sustainable solutions, precision farming techniques, and post-harvest innovations aimed at increasing productivity and reducing environmental impact. Case studies from the Green Innovation Centre project will highlight how smallholder farmers and cooperatives can benefit from mechanization, digital tools, and value chain linkages.
