On 04/20/2024, the Asian Business Development Research Center, in collaboration with the Vietnam Invention Association and its partners, organized the Vietnam-ASEAN Economic Cooperation Forum at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.
2024 marks the 8th year this forum has been held in Singapore with the aim of recognizing and honouring the contributions of businesses and encouraging the entrepreneurial community to strive for innovative values, continuous renewal, and sustainable brand development. At the same time, it seeks to enhance economic relations between Vietnam, Singapore, and the ASEAN region to strengthen the trust of domestic and regional partners and customers.
The forum has received positive responses from the Vietnamese business community in particular, and ASEAN countries in general, in promoting and expanding cooperative relationships among domestic enterprises and the ASEAN business community. This includes improving management capabilities, production, and supply of products and services, expanding markets, and aiming to provide increasingly high-quality products and services to consumers at home and abroad, thereby affirming the position of Vietnamese goods in the ASEAN market.
Entrepreneur Nguyen Hong Phong, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association and CEO of Tien Nong Agricultural Joint Stock Company was honored to receive the ASEAN Strong Brand Award 2024.
During the forum, the organizing committee presented the ASEAN Strong Brand Award 2024. The award was evaluated by the jury based on 6 core criteria: being a reputable brand leader in the ASEAN market; providing high-quality products and services for export, circulating in the international market; sustainable development strategy in the ASEAN market; significant contribution to the ASEAN regional economy; social responsibility and community involvement; compliance with environmental, customs, and tax regulations.
At this forum, Tien Nong Agricultural Joint Stock Company (Tien Nong Company) was honoured to be voted as the ASEAN Strong Brand 2024. This award marks a significant milestone in the company's efforts to enhance its competitiveness and reaffirm the trust of customers in the high-quality products and services provided by Tien Nong Company.
Mr. Nguyen Hong Phong, CEO of Tien Nong Company, shared: "After 30 years of relentless effort and perseverance, Tien Nong has become a brand for Vietnamese farmers. With this recognition, Tien Nong confidently expands its reach to the ASEAN region, becoming a brand for ASEAN farmers. Furthermore, with its efforts during its operations, Tien Nong Company has been honoured to receive the Third-class Labor Medal and has won the Golden Star of Vietnam Award five times. Tien Nong is also the first science and technology enterprise in the field of crop nutrition in Vietnam, with awards such as the Vietnam Vifotech Scientific and Technological Innovation Award, and Kova Award, and has been continuously honoured in agricultural programs. It is also the first enterprise to be granted a Certificate of Science and Technology Enterprise by Thanh Hoa province.
