The Forum Organizing Committee also awarded the title of "ASEAN Outstanding Leader 2024" to Mr. Mai Van Hoang, CEO of GrowMax Group, who spearheaded the establishment of the first Vietnamese shrimp feed brand in the world.

Accompanied by his wit, diligence and curiosity, Mai Van Hoang developed GrowMax into the first Vietnamese brand of shrimp feed on the international market. Consequently, the company became the first producer in the Vietnam's shrimp sector to successfully apply scientific and technical achievements in the field of shrimp nutrition.

GrowMax's shrimp feed products have received recognition for their quality, appearance, color, and taste. Additionally, their products boast the fastest Average Daily Growth (ADG) rate and the lowest Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR), allowing farmers to optimize production costs.

Mai Van Hoang also pioneered the pro bono development, support, and transfer of GrowMax's high-tech recirculating shrimp farming process to farmers. By implementing this advanced farming method, GrowMax has enabled numerous farmers to consistently achieve successful shrimp yields while reducing investment costs by approximately 30 percent. Notably, the process allows for the reuse of water resources to support subsequent farming cycles, thereby promoting sustainability.

The GrowMax high-tech recirculating shrimp farming process is being applied with great effectiveness by shrimp farmers domestically and internationally. As a result, this model should be encouraged and replicated to address the the ongoing decline and depletion of freshwater resources.

Furthermore, the recirculating shrimp farming process will address the negligent use of freshwater resources to balance salinity levels for industrial shrimp farming during hot seasons.

GrowMax currently stands as a key producer and supplier of various shrimp industry essentials, including feed, shrimp seed and biological products. The company also provides advanced technical solutions for shrimp farming, processing and export activities.

With the motto "Quality builds trust," Mai Van Hoang aims to accelerate GrowMax's development in the future, thereby elevating the position and image of the Vietnam's shrimp sector on the international stage.
