The Salanganes Nest material processing factory of Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company specializes in producing product lines from Khanh Hoa edible bird’s nest. This is the first factory in Vietnam to meet the BRCGS global standard for food safety.

Accordingly, BRCGS is an international standard for food safety used by retailers and food producers to ensure standards on food hygiene and safety, quality control, and risk management related to food products. This is a quality management system to protect consumers, issued by the British Retailer Consortium (BRC) in 1998.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Hung, Chairman of the Member's Council of Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company, said that to achieve this certification, the company's Salanganes Nest material processing factory had to make efforts to pass strict standards and complete the assessment program, then was issued BRCGS certification with an A rating.

According to Mr. Nguyen Anh Hung, this is the company's second factory to achieve this standard.

"BRCGS certification has once again consolidated the trust and confidence of consumers in Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest product lines," expressed the leader of Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company.

Mr. Hung added that the BRCGS global standard for food safety will create great opportunities for Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest products to access the world's leading retailers, especially expand the retail market to European countries, and enhance brand reputation, image, and competitive advantage globally.

With many years of experience and traditional know-how combined with modernity, since 2012, the first Salanganes Nest material processing factory of Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company has come into operation to produce mainly edible bird's nest product lines, including refined bird’s nest, pre-processed Salanganes nest, and Khanh Hoa edible bird’s nest essence. In addition, the factory is also the main raw material supplier for other manufacturing factories of Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company.

Good and strict control of input raw materials at the factory is one of the main factors that helps edible bird’s nest products pass rigorous screening and accreditation rounds with a series of criteria.

Here, Khanh Hoa Edible Bird’s Nest product lines are produced according to a closed technological process and are strictly inspected, ensuring food safety and hygiene and meeting international standards: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22000, and HACCP. In particular, the product also meets the strict standards of international markets such as Australia (AQIS), Canada (CFIA), and the United States (FDA).

This helps ensure that edible bird’s nest products retain complete nutrition and, most importantly, are safe when reaching consumers. The factory continues to renew its US FSMA food safety certificate.

“International standards demonstrate our pioneering and highest level of commitment to consumers in producing quality, safe, and transparent products, contributing to creating a solid foothold and enhancing the brand reputation of Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest products in the domestic and international markets," said Mr. Hung.

Thus, the methodical investment in modern factories according to international standards has helped Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest have the foundation to provide quality, safe products and catch up with world trends.

To continue to conquer new goals, the company's leaders, officers, and employees always strive to innovate and create.

Along with that, to create a strong change, the Salanganes Nest material processing factory will proactively focus on digitalization, advanced applications, and comprehensive digital transformation. This contributes to good control of the production process, reduces production costs and product prices, well controls energy sources and the environment, improves product quality, and contributes to bringing Vietnam's Salanganes nest industry to new heights.

The fact that the Salanganes Nest material processing factory of Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company meets the BRCGS global standard for food safety shows the business’s pioneering in always proactively meeting the world's advanced standards. This is clearly demonstrated in the continuous investment and improvement of products to bring the highest quality to consumers and reach the international market.
