Rice prices on November 18 domestically

The rice and paddy market on November 18 shows slight fluctuations in certain products.

Paddy prices remain stable with no significant changes. In Dong Thap and Kien Giang, paddy trading is steady, with a high quantity of dry paddy and stable demand. Specific:

  • Long An sticky rice (dry) is priced at VND 9,800 - 10,000/kg. Long An IR 4625 sticky rice (dry) is priced at VND 9,600 - 9,800/kg.
  • IR 50404 paddy is priced at VND 7,400 - 7,500/kg (a VND 100 increase). Dai Thom 8 paddy is priced at VND 8,200 - 8,400/kg.
  • OM 5451 paddy is priced at VND 7,500 - 7,600/kg. OM 18 paddy is priced at VND 8,400 - 8,600/kg.
  • OM 380 paddy is priced at VND 6,800 - 7,000/kg. Japanese paddy is priced at VND 7,800 - 8,000/kg.
  • Nang Nhen sticky rice (dry) is priced at VND 20,000/kg. Nang Hoa 9 sticky rice is priced at 8,400 - 8,600 VND/kg.

Rice prices show a decreasing trend. In local areas such as An Giang and Dong Thap, buying has slowed down, and fragrant rice prices have slightly increased while other rice prices remain stable.

  • IR 504 Summer - Autumn raw rice is priced at VND 10,300 - 10,450/kg (a 100 VND decrease). IR 504 white rice is priced at VND 12,300 - 12,500/kg.
  • Sticky rice (ruot) is priced at VND 18,000 - 22,000/kg. Regular rice is priced at VND 15,000 - 16,000/kg. Nang Nhen rice is priced at 28,000 VND/kg.
  • Thai fragrant long-grain rice is priced at VND 20,000 - 22,000/kg. Jasmine fragrant rice is priced at VND 17,000 - 18,000/kg. Huong Lai rice remains at VND 22,000/kg.
  • Regular white rice is purchased at VND 17,500/kg. Nang Hoa rice is priced at VND 21,500/kg. Soc rice is priced at VND 18,000 - 18,500/kg. Soc Thai rice is priced at VND 21,000/kg.
  • Taiwanese fragrant rice is priced at VND 21,000/kg. Japanese rice remains at VND 22,000/kg.
  • OM 5451 broken rice is at VND 9,200 - 9,400/kg, while dried bran is priced at VND 6,050 - 6,150/kg.

On the export market, the price of 100% broken rice is at $ 423/ton; the price of standard 5% broken rice is being purchased at $ 518/ton. Meanwhile, the price of 25% broken rice is at $ 488/ton.

Thus, rice and paddy prices on November 18, 2024, show little change compared to yesterday.
