Rice prices on November 15, 2024, domestically

The rice market on November 15 showed slight fluctuations in certain categories.

In Dong Thap and Kien Giang, transactions were steady, with ample supply of dried rice and stable purchasing demand. Specifically:

  • Dried Long An sticky rice (3 months) is priced at VND 9,800 - 10,000/kg, while Long An IR 4625 sticky rice (dried) is priced at VND 9,600 - 9,800/kg.
  • IR 50404 rice is around VND 7,400 - 7,500/kg (up by VND 100), while Dai Thom 8 rice remains at VND 8,200 - 8,400/kg.
  • OM 5451 rice trades at VND 7,500 - 7,600/kg, and OM 18 rice is priced at VND 8,400 - 8,600/kg.
  • OM 380 rice holds steady at VND 6,800 - 7,000/kg, and Japanese rice is at 7,800 - 8,000 VND/kg.
  • Nang Nhen sticky rice (dried) trades at VND 20,000/kg, while Nang Hoa 9 rice remains at VND 8,400 - 8,600/kg.

Meanwhile, rice prices today (November 15) show a downward trend.

  • Summer-Autumn IR 504 raw rice is priced at VND 10,300 - 10,450/kg (down by VND 100) and finished IR 504 rice is priced at VND 12,300 - 12,500/kg.
  • Sticky rice kernels are priced at VND 18,000 - 22,000/kg, and common rice is at VND 15,000 - 16,000/kg. Nang Nhen rice is priced at VND 28,000/kg.
  • Long-grain aromatic Thai rice trades at VND 20,000 - 22,000/kg. Jasmine aromatic rice is priced at VND 17,000 - 18,000/kg, while Huong Lai rice remains steady at VND 22,000/kg.
  • Standard white rice is purchased at VND 17,500/kg, Nang Hoa rice is at VND 21,500/kg, and regular Soc rice holds at VND 18,000 - 18,500/kg. Meanwhile, Soc Thai rice is priced at VND 21,000/kg.
  • Taiwan aromatic rice is priced at VND 21,000/kg, and Japanese rice stays at VND 22,000/kg.
  • OM 5451 broken rice is priced at VND 9,200 - 9,400/kg, while dry bran is priced at VND 6,050 - 6,150/kg.

In the export market, the price for 100% broken rice is $ 423/ton, while 5% broken rice is traded at $ 518/ton. Meanwhile, 25% broken rice is priced at $ 488/ton.

Thus, domestic rice prices on November 15, 2024, show little fluctuation compared to the previous day.
