Organic rice production link brings profit of VND 30 million/ha.

This summer-autumn crop, Song Gianh Corporation has implemented an organic rice production linkage model in Ba Don town (Quang Binh province). This is also the first model to apply drone technology in the seeding and fertilization stages. With a bountiful harvest this summer-autumn season, the high profits have brought great joy to local farmers.

In recent years, Song Gianh Corporation has collaborated with local farmers to produce rice organically. In Ba Don town, the production linkage and product consumption have expanded over an area of 500 hectares, with more than 100 hectares gradually transitioning to organic production.

The value chain production model is implemented between Song Gianh Corporation and farmers in degraded rice fields. In the fields of Tien Son village, Quang Tien commune, Ba Don town, Quang Binh, farmers are entering the harvest season. The summer-autumn rice crop is yielding well with high productivity. Mr. Tran Minh Truc’s family has more than 10 Sao of rice land, and this season they have had a good harvest with high prices, resulting in significant profits for the farmers.

In line with their commitment, Song Gianh Corporation has purchased fresh rice from farmers at VND 7.2 million/ton, higher than market prices. In addition, the company also supports farmers with rice packaging and transportation from the fields to collection points. Previously, the company provided farmers with Huong Binh rice seeds, organic fertilizers, and drone equipment for seeding and fertilizing.

This creates opportunities for farmers to access and apply science and technology in production to reduce costs, increase productivity, and achieve high efficiency in agricultural production.
