(VAN) Pepper prices on March 11, 2025, saw little fluctuation in the global market. Domestic pepper prices dropped sharply by nearly VND 3,000.

Globally, pepper prices on March 11 showed little fluctuation.

Specifically, the price of black pepper Lampung in Indonesia increased by 0.43%, reaching $ 7,376/ton. Meanwhile, white pepper Muntok rose slightly by 0.44%, standing at $ 10,242/ton.

In Malaysia, black pepper Kuching ASTA was priced at $9,800/ton, while white pepper ASTA reached $ 12,300/ton.

In the Brazilian market, black pepper ASTA 570 was traded at $ 6,900/ton, up 0.72%.

In Vietnam, export black pepper prices declined across the board, with the 500 g/l variety trading at $ 7,000/ton and the 550 g/l variety at $ 7,200/ton. Similarly, export white pepper was priced at $ 10,000/ton.

Global pepper prices today remained mostly stable, with only black pepper from Brazil slightly increasing, reaching $ 6,900/ton.

The global pepper market in 2024 experienced significant fluctuations, with prices rising from 328 Rupees/kg in January to 614 Rupees/kg in June, before stabilizing at 512 Rupees/kg in December. Experts predict that prices could exceed 1,000 Rupees/kg this year.

Thus, global pepper prices on March 11, 2025, remained mostly stable compared to yesterday.

In Gia Lai, prices have decreased by VND 2,000, now trading at VND 157,000/kg.

Traders in Dong Nai are purchasing pepper at VND 157,000/kg, down by VND 2,000.

In Ba Ria - Vung Tau, prices today also dropped by VND 2,000, reaching VND 157,000/kg.

Traders in Binh Phuoc are also trading at VND 157,000/kg, down by VND 2,000.

Thus, domestic pepper prices on March 11, 2025, are trading around VND 157,000 - 159,300/kg.
