Specifically, black pepper Lampung in Indonesia holds at $ 7,376/ton, while white pepper Muntok stays at $ 10,242/ton.

In Malaysia, black pepper Kuching ASTA is priced at $ 9,800/ton, and white pepper ASTA reaches $ 12,300/ton.

In Brazil, black pepper ASTA 570 remains at $ 6,850/ton.

In Vietnam, black pepper 500 g/l is trading at $ 7,000/ton, while 550 g/l is at $ 7,200/ton. Similarly, white pepper for export is priced at $ 10,000/ton.

India's pepper prices have surged over 40% in the past two years, with experts warning of further increases due to declining production in key growing regions. Tight supply caused by adverse weather, lower stock levels, and shifts in cultivation patterns among major producing countries have contributed to the price surge.
