Pepper prices on October 26 globally

On the global market, pepper prices saw a slight decrease in Indonesia today.

Specifically, the price of black pepper from Lampung, Indonesia, fell by 0.22%, reaching $ 6,724/ton. The price of white pepper from Muntok also declined by 0.23%, trading at $ 9,205/ton.

In Malaysia, the price of black pepper ASTA Kuching is $ 8,500/ton, while the white pepper ASTA from the country is priced at $ 11,000/ton.

In Brazil, black pepper ASTA 570 is trading at $ 6,400/ton.

In Vietnam, the export price for black pepper with a grade of 500 g/l is $ 6,500/ton, while the 550 g/l grade is priced at $ 6,800/ton. The export price for white pepper is currently at $ 9,500/ton.

Global pepper prices today have only seen a slight decrease in Indonesia, while remaining stable in other markets.

This week, the pepper market reacted quite negatively, with no markets reporting any increases.

In particular, the prices of Indian pepper, both domestically and internationally, continue to show a downward trend for the month. The prices of both domestic and international pepper in Indonesia have stabilized this week.

The rising USD has hindered the upward momentum of pepper prices.

Thus, on 10/26/2024, global pepper prices have shown minimal fluctuation compared to yesterday.

Pepper prices on October 26 domestically

In the domestic market, the price of pepper on October 26 has decreased compared to yesterday.

Specifically, in Dak Lak, pepper is purchased at VND 146,500/kg, down VND 200;

The price of pepper in Dak Nong has decreased by VND 500, reaching VND 146,500/kg;

The price in Gia Lai has dropped by VND 1,200, trading at VND 144,500/kg;

Traders in Dong Nai are purchasing pepper for only VND 144,500/kg, down VND 1,000;

The price in Ba Ria - Vung Tau remains steady at VND 146,000/kg;

In Binh Phuoc, pepper is trading at VND 145,000/kg, down VND 500.

The domestic pepper price today has decreased by VND 200 to VND 1,200, trading around VND 146,000/kg.

Thus, the domestic pepper price on 10/26/ 2024, is trading within the range of VND 145,000 to 146,500/kg.
