Menard Vietnam's representative shared that the first time they visited Cuc Phuong National Park, Menard Vietnam was moved by nature and fell in love with the immense green of the mountains and forests. Admiring the silent dedication of conservation officers and feeling the humanity and meaning in the activities of Cuc Phuong National Park, Menard signed a cooperation agreement and accompanied them on the journey of sustainable conservation.
For Menard, signing and accompanying Cuc Phuong National Park in recent times is a meaningful milestone in the journey of gratitude to nature. It is a journey built with love and wisdom that both sides pursue to inspire, connect the community and create value to contribute to society.
In the near future, the two units will continue to jointly carry out rescue, conservation, research and development activities for rare and endangered wild animals, such as collecting, planting, preserving genetic resources and breeding rare plant species, as well as deploying activities to raise awareness of nature protection and rewilding of animals in Cuc Phuong great forest.
According to Mr. Le Trong Dat, the Deputy Director of the Center for Rescue, Conservation and Development of Organisms - Cuc Phuong National Park, the Center is currently managing and nurturing nearly 3,000 individuals of 76 species of wild animals. With about 50 people in charge of four subdivisions, the work of preserving wild animals still faces many difficulties.
Since April 2022, Menard Vietnam has supported Cuc Phuong National Park to build a "Fund to support and rescue wildlife and rare animals" with a total amount of VND 413,000,000. (In 2022, the corporation and its officers and employees donated VND 213,000,000; in 2023, continue to support VND 200,000,000).
Receiving the companionship of many international organizations, agencies and units, including Menard Vietnam... is a great source of support, helping the Park complete its tasks in maintaining rescue and conservation the wildlife as well as Cuc Phuong forest.
