According to the information from the Organizing Committee of the World Travel Awards, this agency has just sent a congratulatory letter with the notice: Cuc Phuong National Park is honored to receive the award "Asia's Leading National Park 2023".
Accordingly, Vietnam's Cuc Phuong National Park continues to surpass many other national parks of Japan, Nepal, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Malaysia to be voted as Asia's Leading National Park in 2023. This confirms the attractiveness of the eco-tourism model - one of the key types of tourism of Vietnam's tourism industry in the coming time.
It is known that this is the fifth time (from 2019 to now), Cuc Phuong National Park is consecutively honored to receive the prestigious award "Asia's Leading National Park".
It is expected that the award ceremony of Asia's Leading National Park this year will take place on September 6 in Ho Chi Minh City.
This is an annual award held since 1993 until now, World Travel Awards has become the world's most prestigious brand in honoring outstanding achievements of the tourism industry in all fields.
Cuc Phuong National Park covers an area of 22.408,8 hectares; located in 3 provinces of Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa and Hoa Binh, with administrative boundaries of 4 districts and 14 communes. In recent years, one of the important tasks of the Cuc Phuong National Park Management Board is environmental education and ecotourism service provision.
Specifically, ecotourism activities, sightseeing, learning and experiencing in Cuc Phuong National Park are organized by the Cuc Phuong National Park Management Board. Every year, educational activities associated with conservation attract 100,000-120,000 visitors.
Cuc Phuong National Park was built with the main function and task of preserving natural resources and cultural, historical and landscape values; maintaining the protective effect of the forest; organizing scientific research activities, ecological environment services and environmental education.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Chinh, the Director of Cuc Phuong National Park, the unit's orientation is to develop sustainably; conservation associated with ecotourism development. With rich, diverse and well-protected resources, Cuc Phuong National Park has many potentials in eco-tourism such as exploring nature with various types of jogging, climbing, caves, and camping, etc. with world-class animal conservation and rescue programs. Cuc Phuong National Park is also known as the "conservation capital" of a number of primates, turtles, carnivores and pangolins.
