Loc Troi aims to reduce 1 million liters of chemicals released into the field

On February 21, Loc Troi Group struck an agreement with international groups and firms producing agro-pharmaceuticals to supply sufficient agricultural materials for the agent system of the Loc Troi agricultural ecosystem in 2022. Additionally, it negotiated credit financing agreements with key banks such as Vietcombank, HDBank, TPBank, and Maritime Bank totaling VND 5,000 billion.

Loc Troi is committed to achieving the commitment: "Always collaborate with farmers for sustainable development." By progressively developing rural spaces that are worth living in, Loc Troi hopes to reduce the annual release of 1 million liters of chemicals into the local field.

Loc Troi partners with renowned companies that share the same view to sustainable development, such as Corteva Agriscience (USA), Bayer CropScience (Germany), Map Pacific (Singapore), DEVI Cropscience (India), and UPL (India), to provide crop protection and care products that balance three organic - biological - chemical factors, combining scientific farming processes with synchronous mechanization of seasonal activities in Loc Troi-organized production areas.

The agricultural materials sector of Loc Troi will provide products according to the crop's progress through a two-stage distribution system with 2,500 agents nationwide. This supply activity will be continuously improved through the use of a mobile application and the traceability of each product's origin via a QR code to tighten control over items sent to each commune, farmer linkage group. 

Loc Troi Agricultural Research Institute has promoted self-research, development, and production of biologically derived plant protection products, as well as close collaboration with the Plant Protection Department, Can Tho University, An Giang University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry, and Southern Horticultural Research Institute.

Additionally, the creation of an organic fertilizer manufacturing factory enables Loc Troi to provide organic and non-organic fertilizer, as well as a solution for post-harvest straw processing into fertilizer. By 2030, the Group's biological, organic, and microbiological goods are expected to account for 40% of the Group's plant protection product structure.

Mr. Huynh Van Thon, Chairman of the Loc Troi Group's Board of Directors, stated: "By 2022, with the support of partners who share the same vision, Loc Troi pledges to continue serving farmers nationwide, assuring them to keep production even though global agricultural materials prices rise and demanding markets such as Europe tighten control over agricultural goods' quality. This is our next strategic step in our journey to improve the Loc Troi agricultural ecosystem by increasing the efficiency of large-scale agricultural production, thereby increasing the competitiveness of Vietnamese agricultural goods in the global market and optimizing benefits for Loc Troi farmers."
