Dong Nai discovers over 4 tons of pig fat and offal with unclear origin

On November 13, the police in Bien Hoa City (Dong Nai) cooperated with relevant authorities to verify and handle the case of over 4 tons of pig offal found at a processing facility in Bien Hoa City that did not meet food safety standards.

Earlier, on the afternoon of November 12, the Economic Police Division of Bien Hoa City Police, in coordination with Phuoc Tan Ward Police (Bien Hoa City), conducted an inspection of a pig fat processing facility in Tan Mai Street, Phuoc Tan Ward, owned by Nguyen Thi Dung (53 years old, residing in KP8, Tan Bien Ward). The inspection revealed several violations of food safety standards.

At the time of the inspection, the police found that the facility had 10 workers processing and handling pig offal, which emitted a foul odor, on the ground, not meeting sanitary conditions.
