Recently, in Quang Ninh province, particularly in mountainous areas, there have been periods of severe cold and frost that pose risks to livestock health.
In Thanh Son commune, Ba Che district, some households have already made preparations for livestock protection against the cold before the harsh weather conditions.
However, since there are still households without proper shelters, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Quang Ninh province has been actively promoting awareness to encourage farmers to improve their barns and confine livestock during cold spells below 12°C to minimize potential losses.
