Live pig prices updated on Nov 10.
In most areas in northern Vietnam, the prices of live pigs remained quite stable on November 10. Ha Nam Province witnessed a slight increase of VND 1,000/kg in the purchase price to VND 67,000/kg. Hanoi, on the other hand, saw a fall of VND 1,000/kg.
In Ninh Binh, Thai Binh and Phu Tho province, live pigs were sold at VND 67,000/kg. Meanwhile, in Bac Giang, Yen Bai, Lao Cai, Hung Yen, Nam Dinh province and the like, live pigs were purchased at VND 68,000/ kg.
Overall, the prices of live pigs on November 10 in the northern market fluctuated between VND 66,000 and VND 68,000 per kg.
Live hog prices in the Central Vietnam and Central Highlands went up by VND 1,000. In Thanh Hoa province, pigs were sold at VND 68,000/kg while in Binh Dinh province, they were sold at VND 73,000/kg.
Overall, the live hog prices in central Vietnam and central highlands remained the same. The highest price was recorded in Thua Thien Hue Province, at VND 74,000/kg. This is followed by Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri province, with the price of VND 73,000/kg.
Overall, the live pig prices on November 10 in Central Vietnam and Central Highlands fluctuated between VND 68,000 - 74,000 per kg.
In the southern provinces, the live pig prices saw a change of VND 1,000-2,000/kg compared to yesterday.
Live pig price in Vung Tau province marginally rose by VND1,000/ kg to VND 74,000/ kg. Similarly, in Bac Lieu province, pigs were sold at VND76,000/ kg, which showed a jump of VND 2,000/ kg.
On the other hand, the prices in Long An province inched by VND 1,000/kg to VND 77,000/ kg. After days being the sole leader in the market, Long An province ended up sharing the highest pig price with Dong Thap and Tien Giang province.
Overall, the live hog prices in the southern Vietnam on November 10 ranged between VND 72,000 and VDN 77,000 per kg.
