The polyhouses and greenhouses all apply modern technology of Vietnam and Israel, fully automatic from humidity, nutrition, and temperature. This is the reason why vegetables, tubers and fruit products grown here are of high quality.

Some other outstanding technologies which can be mentioned include the Kubota cultivation technology (Japan), Netafim drip and sprinkler irrigation technology, TAP (Teshuva Agricultural Projects) greenhouse production technology, hydroponic growing technology using nutrient film technique (NFT), and Microgreen sprouting technology.

WinEco Dong Trieu has nearly 40 varieties of key vegetables, tubers and fruits imported from Korea, Japan, Israel, Thailand, and India. With a total investment of approximately VND 138 billion, the company is implementing the production of vegetables, tubers and fruits according to high-technology standards and ensuring stable jobs for nearly 100 local workers with an average income of more than VND 5 million/person/month.

Coming into operation in October 2015, WinEco Dong Trieu has exported to the market an average of nearly 2,000 tons of high-quality agro-products per year. The company is now upgrading the management system for planting plots and field diaries using electronic software. With this management system, staff and employees of the company can control daily production activities through handheld devices.

According to a representative of WinEco, in the coming time the company will add a group of organic products produced according to international standards to serve the diverse needs of consumers in Quang Ninh province and other localities in the country.”With a population of nearly 100 million people, the demand for clean, traceable food in Vietnam will increase, especially in big cities. Therefore, the application of high technology in agroproduction not only helps increase productivity per unit area but also ensures year-round product supply to meet market demand.”

It can be said that agro-products produced in the direction of applying modern technology are receiving increasingly high regard from consumers. Clean and high quality agro-products certainly have a strong foothold in the present market.

But WinEco's products can only meet part of the output demand of the Vietnamese market at the moment through the main channel of the WinMart/WinMart+ system. A part of the output is supplied to processing factories.

The company aims to export its products to markets requiring high quality such as the EU, Japan, Korea, Australia and Singapore, and optimizes product costs with innovative initiatives throughout the production process from input to application of mechanization, automation, and post-harvest technologies to improve the value chain.

Agricultural development using high technology is being identified by Quang Ninh province as an important strategy to create a breakthrough in modern agricultural production, increasing productivity, quality, efficiency and competitiveness in domestic and foreign markets.
