Remove problems to be a model for the provinces

According to the Quang Ninh Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, besides the advantages, currently, marine aquaculture in particular and aquaculture in Quang Ninh province, in general, are also facing many difficulties and challenges: The development of aquaculture in the sea is not commensurate with its potential and is not sustainable. The management and implementation of the state's planning are still weak. Providing services, materials, food, and medicine for prevention and treatment is still lacking and inconsistent. The principal livestock species are limited, the economic value is not high, and the technical farming process is still low. Market forecasting, traceability, and branding are still small, the processing is still tiny, and it has not met standards of food hygiene and safety, so exports often face difficulties.

On the side of businesses, Mr. Nguyen Huu Dung, Chairman of the Vietnam Seaculture Association (VSA), said: Currently, many companies want to invest in aquaculture and marine farming in Quang Ninh. However, they are still facing many barriers and difficulties, such as problems related to farming area planning; the assignment of certain sea areas to organizations, and individuals exploiting and using marine resources according to Decree No. 11/2021/ND-CP; the number of breeding stock; marine environmental pollution...

If Quang Ninh province can remove the difficulties, it will become a model and basis for other localities to solve.

If Quang Ninh province can remove the difficulties, it will become a model and basis for other localities to solve.

Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Phung Duc Tien emphasized that: Quang Ninh province needs to implement solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles to developing marine farming, creating conditions for people peace of mind in production, and attracting businesses to invest.

"It is necessary to specify mechanisms and policies in the development of marine aquaculture, infrastructure, breeds, feed, farming equipment, veterinary medicine, etc. There are problems which problems belong to the responsibility of management agencies or state management and which issues are the responsibility of enterprises. Deputy Minister Phung Duc Tien noted that the direction and administration must be close to reality and pursue the same issue," Deputy Minister Phung Duc Tien noted.

According to Deputy Minister Phung Duc Tien, Quang Ninh has no reason not to develop marine farming vigorously. If Quang Ninh can remove facing difficulties, it will become a model and a basis for other localities.

"Currently, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has drastically stepped in, then the province and businesses must also get to work. What content deployed, what difficulties encountered, must be carefully researched, done to the end, removed until the end, only solved", Deputy Minister Phung Duc Tien emphasized.
