DHN Tay Ninh hi-tech application breeding area project has a more than 39.5 hectares scale and a total investment capital of VND 200 billion. The project aims to produce poultry breeds and raise chickens with a scale of 20 million eggs/year. The project is expected to be completed and implemented in the first quarter of 2024.
It is known that this is one of the component projects of the chain of high-tech agricultural complexes with a total investment of up to VND 2,500 billion, added that Hung Nhon Group and De Heus Group have committed to investing in Tay Ninh.
Previously, on June 2, within the framework of "Forum connecting businesses to invest and develop high-tech agricultural ecosystem in Tay Ninh province in 2023", Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee, De Heus Netherlands and Group Hung Nhon Vietnam signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on surveying, researching, and investing in several high-tech agricultural projects with a total investment of about VND 2,500 billion.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Ngoc highly appreciated the scale and capacity of Hung Nhon Group with a series of projects implemented in the Central Highlands and Southeast provinces, especially joint venture projects with De Heus, one of the world's leading agricultural corporations.
The DHN joint venture of the two groups is not only a successful example of the high-tech agricultural cooperation model but also brings about positive socio-economic changes in the localities that DHN has faced.
"The organization of the project's groundbreaking ceremony within one month of the MoU's signing has shown that Hung Nhon and De Heus are reputable, dedicated, and eager to invest in Tay Ninh. Hopefully, with their dynamism, professionalism, and experience, Hung Nhon and De Heus will complete the construction and put the project into operation as committed," Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ngoc shared the expectation of local leaders.
As a partner of Hung Nhon Group in the DHN joint venture, Mr. Rick Van Der Linden - Director of De Heus Genetics and Animal Breeds, General Director of Belga Vietnam and Cambodia also highly appreciated the capacity of Hung Nhon through a series of projects, especially the task of providing breeding stock.
In the context of potential disease outbreaks, investing in disease-free areas is to provide a source of good quality, disease-free breeding stock to help farmers re-herd and stabilize production. It is both a challenge and an opportunity for Vietnam's livestock industry to develop sustainably in industrial concentration, with large-scale farms and professional, modern, and bio-secure livestock production households.
"From the experience accumulated in the DHN joint venture and enthusiasm to contribute to Tay Ninh province, I believe that Hung Nhon will succeed with the DHN project in Tay Ninh. Further, helping Tay Ninh become a leading locality in providing quality seed," said Mr. Rick van Der Linden.
Speaking at the Project Groundbreaking Ceremony, Mr. Vu Manh Hung, Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Hung Nhon Group, shared about the potential and advantages of Tay Ninh in the field of agriculture, mainly applied agriculture using high technology. In looking for investment opportunities, Hung Nhon is always given the most favorable conditions, from leaders of the Provincial People's Committee to leaders of departments and agencies of Tay Ninh.
"The sincerity of the leaders of Tay Ninh province is the motivation for us to be determined to speed up the work, mobilize all resources to accelerate the progress of the basic construction to put the project into operation following the law plan," Mr. Vu Manh Hung said.
Within the framework of the Groundbreaking Ceremony, representatives of the investor, Hung Nhon Group Vietnam and De Heus the Netherlands, donated VND 500 million to the fund to build a house of compassion to help policy beneficiaries in the difficult Tan Chau district. Representatives of Hung Nhon Vietnam Group and De Heus Netherlands also presented 20 bicycles to poor students overcoming difficulties in the Tan Chau district.
