Farmers enjoy exploring agricultural machinery at AGRITECHNICA ASIA 2025
Thứ Năm 13/03/2025 , 11:54 (GMT+7)(VAN) 500 farmers from Dong Nai, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Ho Chi Minh City, Long An and Tien Giang participate for the first time in the largest agricultural machinery exhibition in Asia (AGRITECHNICA ASIA 2025).

As part of the largest agricultural machinery exhibition in Asia (AGRITECHNICA ASIA 2025), the Vietnam Agriculture and Nature Newspaper, in collaboration with the National Agricultural Extension Center and the Agricultural Technology Transfer and Research Center (Southern Institute of Agricultural Science and Technology), organized a program to bring farmers and students to attend the exhibition.

The Vietnam Agriculture and Nature Newspaper sponsors the funding to bring 500 outstanding farmers from Farmers' Associations and Cooperatives in five provinces, including Dong Nai, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Ho Chi Minh City, Long An, Tien Giang. In addition, the Vietnam Agriculture and Nature Newspaper also provided support to bring 100 students from the University of Agriculture and Forestry in Ho Chi Minh City to participate in the exhibition.

The organizers support farmers in registering and checking in when attending the largest agricultural machinery exhibition in Asia (AGRITECHNICA ASIA 2025).

AGRITECHNICA ASIA 2025, held for the first time in Vietnam, has attracted participation from over 30 countries with the most advanced equipment and technologies. The exhibition provides an opportunity for farmers, cooperatives and businesses to access modern technologies from around the world.

According to Mr. Ngo Xuan Chinh, Director of the Agricultural Technology Transfer and Research Center at the Southern Institute of Agricultural Science and Technology, AGRITECHNICA ASIA 2025 is not only an important opportunity for farmers but also for technical staff and businesses to gain access to cutting-edge technologies from around the world.
He emphasized: “After the exhibition, we plan to collaborate with companies that specialize in cluster spraying equipment, as well as those offering automatic irrigation systems, smart irrigation technologies, and solutions for water and fertilizer conservation. This collaboration will allow us to gather advanced technologies, refine production processes, and transfer these techniques to local farmers. Our goal is to promote a green, sustainable agricultural sector that reduces emissions and enhances efficiency".

Mr. Le Huu Phuoc, from the Farmers' Association of Hoc Mon District (Ho Chi Minh City), expressed his excitement at the opportunity to participate for the first time in an international-scale exhibition featuring the latest and most advanced machinery. He shared, “A day of learning is a day of wisdom", emphasizing how this experience has been a valuable opportunity for him. "There are so many advanced machines and pieces of equipment that support agricultural production, and as small-scale farmers, we have not had the chance to experience or access them before. It is truly eye-opening to see the innovations that could improve our work", he said.
Mr. Phuoc further expressed his hope that there will be more exhibitions like AGRITECHNICA ASIA 2025 in the future, providing farmers with opportunities to learn, expand their knowledge, and explore new technologies, as well as introduce more agricultural machinery and equipment suitable for small-scale farms like his.

Farmer Vo Cong Khanh (standing in the middle) also expressed his excitement when for the first time he "witnessed" the powerful machinery from both Vietnam and the world, gathered at an international-scale exhibition. In addition to the foreign machinery, he was particularly impressed by the locally-made agricultural equipment. He was especially fond of the CD6V1 rice whitening machine, which is produced by Bui Van Mechanical Manufacturing Co., Ltd.

Many farmers are interested in Vinaseed's initiatives for the high-quality, low-emission rice value chain.

In addition to farmers, representatives from the Farmers' Association, Agricultural Extension Centers, and various departments from provinces in the Mekong Delta region also participated in AGRITECHNICA ASIA 2025.

Students from the University of Agriculture and Forestry in Ho Chi Minh City were amazed by the mechanized machinery and equipment in the agricultural sector showcased at AGRITECHNICA ASIA 2025. In the picture is a corn (maize) and elephant grass harvester, standing over 1 meter tall, from the Celikel brand (Turkey), distributed by Beta Technology Co., Ltd. The machine is designed with special cutting and chopping blades that preserve the freshness of the raw materials while providing maximum productivity with minimal energy consumption and fuel usage.

In addition to exploring the machinery, equipment and technologies at the exhibition, farmers also participated in various workshops and forums. Through these sessions, they were able to update themselves with new knowledge and technologies introduced by experts, scientists, and businesses both from within the country and abroad.
