To encourage young people to be interested in the agricultural industry and at the same time explore attractive career opportunities, De Heus Vietnam cooperated with Nuffic Neso to organize the Empower Youth4Food campaign.
The tour to Vinh Long 2 Factory and the Aquaculture R&D Center is one of the highlight activities of this campaign.
Young people aged 16 - 25 had the opportunity to learn about modern production processes, advanced technology solutions and commitments to sustainable development of De Heus Group.
Biotechnology students at Can Tho University were impressed by De Heus Vietnam's advanced technology as well as commitment to sustainable development.
This tour awakened my passion for the agricultural industry and inspired me to want to contribute to the sustainable development of the industry.
The young people have gained valuable knowledge and experiences after visiting Vinh Long 2 Factory and Aquaculture R&D Center.
With the desire to contribute to rejuvenating the agricultural sector and promoting the sustainable development of the food system, De Heus Vietnam has been creating many opportunities for young people.
Ms. Nguyen Thu Thuy, Director of Sustainable Development Vietnam and Asia, De Heus Group shared: "Nurturing future generations is the mission of De Heus Group, which also means we always want to give the young generation opportunities to learn, explore and be inspired.
Hopefully through this visit, young people will gain valuable knowledge and perspectives on the agricultural value chain and gain more interest in this field to contribute to building a more diverse, creative and sustainable agricultural and food industry".
In the future, De Heus Group hopes to have the opportunity to continue to nurture and guide the next generation of talents in the domestic agricultural sector, as well as create a bridge between Dutch organizations and Vietnamese talents.
