Global coffee prices continued to rise, pushing Robusta to its highest levels in years, exceeding $ 5,000/ton. Geopolitical concerns have prompted speculators to withdraw capital and shift investments toward commodity exchanges.
In terms of supply and demand, worries about unfavourable weather conditions in Vietnam and Brazil affecting production have driven sharp increases in coffee prices. Additionally, military conflicts worldwide have raised transportation and other export-related costs.
