In the global market, both the London and New York exchanges continued to decline sharply on February 26.

On the London exchange, Robusta futures for March 2025 rebounded strongly by $ 71 (equivalent to 1.26%), reaching $ 5,712/ton. Meanwhile, the May 2025 contract rose by $ 62 (equivalent to 1.1%), standing at $ 5,717/ton.

On the New York exchange, Arabica futures for May 2025 dropped another 0.65 cents (equivalent to 0.17%), settling at 389.25 cents/lb. The July 2025 contract also declined slightly by 0.65 cents (equivalent to 0.17%), reaching 378.90 cents/lb.

Traders report increasing concerns that coffee consumption may be impacted after the recent price surge. Additionally, investment funds are cutting back on long positions, and demand from roasters has somewhat weakened.

In Dak Nong province, traders in Gia Nghia and Dak R'lap are transacting at VND 130,000/kg and VND 129,900/kg, respectively.

In Gia Lai province, Chu Prong district is trading at VND 130,000/kg, while Pleiku and La Grai are holding steady at VND 129,900/kg.

Meanwhile, coffee purchasing prices in Kon Tum today stand at VND 129,900/kg.

Thus, domestic coffee prices on February 26, 2025, are trading around VND 128,000 - 130,000/kg.
