Global coffee prices today continue to rise on the London exchange, stimulating a recovery for Arabica on the New York exchange.
Robusta experienced a volatile trading session, increasing sharply at the start and then gradually declining, but still closed in positive territory.
Meanwhile, the news from Volcafe that Brazil's Arabica production for 2025/2026 will only reach 34.4 million bags, a sharp decrease from previous projections, contributed to the price increase of this coffee type.

Especially, as Vietnam is in the phase of pushing new coffee supply to the market, domestic prices are more likely to decrease compared to global prices.
Commenting on the market trends based on historical lessons, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Quynh, Deputy General Director of MXV, stated that after a sharp increase driven by speculative factors, coffee prices are likely to experience a strong downward trend to bring prices back to the level determined by the supply-demand principle.
Thus, domestic coffee prices on December 11, 2024, are trading around the range of VND 124,200 - 124,700/kg.
