Global coffee prices saw a sharp decline today due to the rising USD and a weakening Brazilian real, leading to significant sell-offs by financiers in Brazil.

Additionally, news of rain in key coffee-growing regions in Brazil, combined with increased exports from South American countries, alleviated concerns about upcoming supply shortages, contributing to the further drop in prices.

Lastly, geopolitical tensions have yet to subside, prompting investors to withdraw from commodity exchanges and seek safe havens like gold. This shift has notably impacted coffee prices on both exchanges.

Thus, global coffee prices on 10/12/2024, sharply dropped compared to the previous day.
