Coffee prices on October 10 globally

On the global market, both the London and New York exchanges saw slight increases on October 10.

On the London exchange, Robusta prices for November 2024 delivery increased by $ 9 (0.19%) to reach $ 4,865/ton. The January 2025 contract rose by $ 17 (0.36%) to $ 4,701/ton.

On the New York exchange, Arabica prices for December 2024 delivery increased by 1.85 cents (0.75%) to 250.05 cents/lb. The March 2025 contract also increased by 1.85 cents (0.75%) to 248.80 cents/lb.

Today, global coffee prices have slightly increased despite a significant drop in certified inventories on the exchanges, which have reached their lowest level in four months. The reason coffee prices haven’t risen further is due to the US dollar maintaining its strength near a two-month high, and investors are waiting for the upcoming US inflation report.

As of the survey, the DXY index, which measures the fluctuation of the US dollar against six major currencies (EUR, JPY, GBP, CAD, SEK, CHF), is at 102.88.

Thus, global coffee prices on 10/10/2024, have edged up slightly compared to yesterday.

Coffee prices on October 10 domestically

In the domestic market, coffee prices have also increased today.

In Lam Dong province, the districts of Di Linh, Bao Loc, and Lam Ha are trading at VND 112,800/kg.

In Dak Lak, Cu M'gar district is purchasing coffee at VND 113,500/kg, while Ea H'leo and Buon Ho districts are trading at VND 113,400/kg.

In Dak Nong, traders in Gia Nghia and Dak R'lap are trading at VND 113,500/kg and VND 113,400/kg, respectively.

In Gia Lai province, Chu Prong district is trading at VND 113,400/kg, while Pleiku and La Grai are holding steady at VND 113,300/kg.

Meanwhile, in Kon Tum, the purchase price today is VND 113,300/kg.

The domestic coffee prices today have slightly increased by VND 200, helping this agricultural product maintain a steady level of VND 113,000/kg.

Thus, the domestic coffee prices on 10/10/2024, are trading around VND 112,800 - 113,500/kg.
