In the world market

In the world market, the coffee prices today, July 21, rise back after the plunge yesterday.

Ending the latest trading session, the Robusta coffee price at the London exchange for delivery in September 2021 increases by US$ 29 per ton at US$ 1,761 per ton, and for delivery in November 2021 increase by US$ 30 per ton at US$ 1,763 per ton.

Meanwhile, the Arabica coffee price delivered in September 2021 increases by Cent 10.40 per pound at Cent 156.4 per pound, for delivery in December 2021 increases by Cent 10.35 per pound at Cent 169.7 per pound.

Last week, speculators on the New York Stock Exchange fell sharply by nearly 8%, so when there was news of frost in Brazil, they rushed to buy coffee, pushing up Arabica's price. This increase is expected to continue in the short term.

In the strong increase of Arabica coffee, the Robusta coffee's price, although conservative, still added US$ 30 per ton at the close of the session.

Besides, the world coffee market is under pressure from rising sea freight fees, which slows down supply from major Robusta producing countries.
